NO-MOO is a project created to offer a real, high-quality choice for people looking for an alternative to animal leather.
We wanted to build a vegan line starting from what already exists. There’s more than enough plastic in the world, so we decided to put it to better use. Today, we make ethical vegan shoes using recycled plastic. Our goal is to take it even further: covering the entire supply chain and eventually producing shoes made entirely from vegan waste materials.

NO-MOO shoes at the end of their life?
We want them back. We’re building a system to collect and recycle them, giving the materials a second life. Plastic will impact the world either way, we’re choosing to make that impact count in a positive direction.

Who are we?
We’re Ornella and Naike, activists for over 30 years.
Who makes our shoes?
A small artisan workshop in Grumo Nevano, Italy. We started with a promise: vegan can be a real business opportunity. He accepted the challenge and raised the stakes. If this works, he’s ready to shift from leather production to making shoes using vegan materials only.
